What We're Looking At

Have you ever been to MutualArt.com ?
If you are an art collector, artist or simply an avid enthusiast, this "revolutionary online information service" is sure to give you plenty to digest.

This new website has been called "The most comprehensive repository for art information online" with partnerships with over 1800 museums and galleries and investors.

Listen to what Forbes Magazine said about MutualArt.com in August of last year.

"MutualArt.com's members are leading art collectors and donors to museums and cultural causes worldwide, as well as curators, gallerists, critics and scholars, and thousands of people wishing to learn about art collecting and investing.
Many members joined MutualArt.com as guests of its partner organizations. The Getty Museum and The Serpentine in London recently joined this roster of leading art organizations that includes The Guggenheim, LACMA, SFMOMA, The Tate, and The Whitney museums, as well as New York's Core Club and top private banks and financial advisors.
MutualArt.com offers many unique features: personalization technology allowing members to track artists and art categories that interest them; the world's most comprehensive guide to art events, including art fairs, auctions and VIP galas and openings in 42 cities around the globe; and a massive archive of over 150,000 art-related articles from the leading art publications and critics.
"At last an art information company is committed to truly empowering their audience to design their own customized media platform for all art related topics" said Jerry Wind, Lauder Professor of Marketing the Wharton School, Board member of the Philadelphia Museum of Art, and MutualArt.com Advisory Board member.

Photography Show- Coming in April

I am excited to be planning our first ever Photography Show here at the Dutch Art Gallery. The survey results are in (and by that we mean word of mouth) and Dallas residents want to see photographs. These small, easily reproduced momentos of anothers' view of the world are all the new rage. As a photographer myself, this event is really close to my heart. I hope you keep checking back for all the details on this exciting new venture. I am still ironing out all the details but as of right now we have at least 6 photographers working both in Digital as well as traditional darkroom photography. By the time this show happens we should have at least double that and an amazing array of what local photographers see around Dallas and the World.

Don't forget to stop by for the last offical weekend of our local artist showcase This weekend!

See yall soon!
